Capacity Building and Conservation Education

INEC-Ghana has been working with local communities to build their capacities on key conservation and natural resources governance processes. This includes women participation in natural resources management, nature-based solutions to climate change, nature-friendly economic activities, community-based natural resources management, etc.

Additionally, INEC-Ghana has been raising awareness on key threatened plants and animals in local communities. INEC-Ghana’s conservation education takes a holistic approach to reach all stakeholders especially youth, women and school children who are mostly sidelined in key conservation decision making processes.
